Our measurements reflect the approximate size (in inches) that you need to measure in order to wear our garments comfortably.
Taking your measurements:
Using a measuring tape, carefully measure yourself. You may need a friend to help with measuring yourself, as it can be tricky to both hold and read the measuring tape. It is a good idea to take as many measurements as possible to ensure proper fit.
Outerwear is sized to fit over your clothing. If you have any questions about measuring, or have special concerns about fit in certain areas, we will be happy to explain or provide more measurements for any of our items.
Women's Measurements:
Total Length: measure from shoulder to hem
Shoulder width: measure the back of a garment that fits you well, from shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam (or where shoulder seam would start if none) to the wrist
Bust: measure around fullest part of bust (not bra size). With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bust line and across the shoulder blades
Hip: measure around the fullest part of the hips, usually about 8 inches below the natural waist (this depends on your height)
Men’s Measurements:
As a general rule, a man's measurement is the same as his size. Where small, medium, large, etc. are concerned, the best way to ensure proper fit is to know your measurements.
